Lunch and Learn Seminars at Peninsula Pastoral Counseling Center 

Bring your lunch and join us for PPCC’s Lunch & Learn Series on the fourth Tuesday of each month. This is a free opportunity to learn and improve resiliency in ourselves and our community. All Lunch and Learn seminars will run from noon to 1pm and will be conducted at PPCC’s main office at 707 Gum Rock Court in Newport News unless noted otherwise.

    • The Power of Pausing– I’ll take a break when I finish this semester/ project/ season…I can’t stop now, with so much left on my to-do list… When the kids are in school/out of school, then I’ll focus on me… Sound familiar? Many of us struggle to give ourselves the breaks and rest we need. The ancient religious practice of Sabbath offers an invitation amidst this struggle. Psychologists note connections between taking breaks and improved mood and wellbeing. Join us as we share conversation around the power of pausing, facilitated by Rev. Deborah Lewis, Resident in Counseling.
